Varalakshmi Vratam

Varalakshmi Vratam is a traditional puja🪔 offered by women🥻 to show gratitude and welcome Devi Varalakshmi into their homes. Varalakshmi is the form of Mahalakshmi👑 who showers boons and manifests the blessings🙌🏻 of all the Ashta Lakshmis💫 (8 forms of Lakshmi) in your life. We invite you to take part in the puja physically at the temple 🛕 or online from the comfort of your home🏡🖥️ so that you may also be showered with abundance and prosperity 🪙💰  

Worshipping her on this day is equivalent to workshipping her 8 forms, AshtaLakshmi.

Here's some additional information about the 8 forms of Mahalakshmi:

1. Adi Lakshmi - The primordial Lakshmi who is Ramaa, the one who brings happiness to the whole cosmos. She resides in Vaikuntam along with Sriman Narayana.
2. Dhanya Lakshmi - The nuritional value of all grains and minerals is Dhanya Lakshmi. She blesses for all the ingredients for a healthy body and being.
3. Gaja Lakshmi - When Lakshmi is born from the Churning of the ocean she brings with her the amrita kalasha of the nectar of immortality. Gaja Lakshmi blesses with the flow of the nectar of oneness.
4. Santana Lakshmi - This Devi cares for progeny and blesses with healthy conscious children.
5. Veera Lakshmi is the goddess who bestows valour during battles and courage plus strength for overcoming difficulties in life
6. Vijaya Lakshmi - All of the troubles we have within us and outside are conquered by the blessings of Vijaya Lakshmi, who represents victory.
7. Dhana Lakshmi - Dhana is the wealth of the whole cosmos iteslf. The mountains, trees, rivers, Sun and the Moon are all Dhana. The qualities, of integrity ,authenticity, responsibility and enriching are also Dhana.
8. Vidya Lakshmi - The ultimate knowledge of the oneness with the cosmos itself is Vidya. It is not academic and institutional knowledge but the knowledge of the truth of oneness. Vidya Lakshmis blessings assure that everything in life is from the context of Oneness.
